Warranty conditions
Article 1: General
These warranty conditions apply to all agreements concluded between herofatbikes.nl and the customer. In these conditions, 'the customer' means: any natural or legal person who has concluded an agreement with herofatbikes.nl.
Article 2: Warranty period
herofatbikes.nl offers a 6 month warranty on the entire Fatbike. The warranty period starts on the date of receipt of the product by the customer.
Article 3: Exceptions
The warranty does not apply if the defects are wholly or partly the result of incorrect, careless or unskilled use, external causes, such as fire or water damage, or if the customer has made changes to the product. The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage resulting from intensive use.
Warranty is excluded for:
- Aesthetic damage, such as scratches and fall damage.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Fat bikes that have been tuned to over 25 km/h (legal maximum).
- Fatbikes to which parts have been added that do not come from herofatbikes.nl
- Bicycles equipped with throttles.
- Parts whose useful life has expired.
- Tyres
- Moisture damage
Article 4: Warranty claims
To submit a warranty claim, the customer must contact the customer service of herofatbikes.nl within the warranty period. The customer must clearly describe the complaint and, if possible, provide photographic material. If the defect is covered by the warranty, herofatbikes.nl will ensure that the product is repaired.
Article 5: Shipping of parts.
Suppose something broke for a realistic reason and a clear warranty claim has been made between the customer and herofatbikes.nl. Then the customer is entitled to a warranty claim. Then a separate part that broke will be sent to the customer free of charge. You must repair the fatbike yourself from there.
